StatementSheet

Privacy policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

StatementSheet (hofman.tech/statementsheet) is operated by Tomislav Hofman, Osijek, Croatia (the "controller"). Contact: contact@hofman.tech.

Your bank statement files

Bank statement files you open in StatementSheet are read and converted entirely inside your web browser. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else, and we cannot see them or the transactions they contain.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). When you load a page, GitHub processes your IP address and request data to deliver and secure the service; see the GitHub privacy statement. When you open ZIP files or export to Excel, your browser loads open-source libraries from cdnjs (operated by Cloudflare, Inc.), which likewise sees your IP address. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics

We use Umami Cloud, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and anonymous events (for example "file read", "export clicked", with counts of files and transactions but never their content). It stores no cookies and no personal data, and IP addresses are not stored. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the tool is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Purchases and licence keys

Purchases of StatementSheet Pro are processed by Polar Software, Inc., which acts as merchant of record and processes your name, email, billing country and payment details to complete the sale, issue an invoice and handle VAT. We receive your email and order details from Polar to provide support and refunds. When you activate a licence key, the key is sent from your browser to Polar's licence API to check that it is valid. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Storage on your device

We set no cookies. If you activate Pro, your licence key is stored in your browser's local storage so you stay activated. You can remove it by clearing site data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Email contact@hofman.tech. You may also lodge a complaint with the Croatian data protection authority, AZOP, or the authority in your country.
